ASSOCIATION EVENTS
SHOW TIMES:
Saturday 10:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM
IWCA MEMBERSHIPS: Available at show
JUDGING:
Judging will commence at 9:30 AM on Saturday and Continue until
completion. Floating Decoy judging will take place Saturday at noon
in the tank outside the building. Carvers shall not communicate with
the judges during judging.
CARVINGS FOR SALE:
Carvers may indicate an entry is for sale and deal directly
with any buyers. A "for sale" table will be provided but not staffed or
secured by the host committee. Business cards may be placed near
the carvings of carvers wishing to advertise. This must not be done
until the judging has been completed.
DISPLAY:
Please bring any carvings you have previously carved and entered for
"display only" to help promote wildfowl. We will have a "Previous Winners
and Carvings" display table to further enhance the show, for public view.
BANQUET:
The banquet will commence at 6:00 PM on Saturday, Sept 25th 2010 at the
Marlborough Park Community Centre. Cocktails at the no-host bar are
at 6:00 PM and dinner is at 7:00 PM. A brief awards presentation and
Cocktail Birds Auction will follow.
COCKTAIL BIRDS:
All carvers are encouraged to carve a miniature bird and enter it in the
miniature wildfowl category. Donation of this "Cocktail Bird" to the
Association for sale at the auction would be greatly appreciated.
This is a
fund raiser for us to help with costs as we are a non profit Association.
Donations and auction items are what enable us to have the shows.
